Hand-Made Pottery - Before and After

As firing takes a considerable time, the ovens are usually filled to capacity. These images show the oven full of items ready for the final firing. Each is glazed and the wax coatings can also be seen on the base of some items. Before firing, the glaze colours are not distinct. After firing and cooling, the true glaze colours can be seen.
